Recently, after strict enterprise declaration, preliminary examination, formal examination and expert review, Suzhou Bureau of Industry and Information Technology announced the first batch of Suzhou 3A green factories. Organized by the Suzhou Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, the appraisal of the “3A green factory” is evaluated by the application unit and the third-party evaluation institutions on the spot, assessed by the municipal industrial and information technology departments, and confirmed by expert demonstration and publicity. Thanks to the key work and achievements in green development, such as energy saving, emission and carbon reduction, comprehensive utilization of resources, product ecological green design, scientific and technological innovation, intelligent factory construction, and green manufacturing system construction, Burgeree secured the title of “3A Green Factory” in Suzhou, which set an example for promoting the high-end, intelligent and green development of manufacturing industry and speeding up the construction of green manufacturing system.
Burgeree Jiangsu New Tech Co., Ltd. was founded in 2007, located in Changshu Economic and Technological Development Zone on the bank of the Yangtze River. In recent years, Burgeree has actively created a “green factory” with intensive land use, clean production, waste reclamation, and low-carbon energy, promoting green design, developing and producing green products to realize the green development in the whole running process. At least half of the product ingredients are from recycled plastic bottles, with 150 million consumed annually, thus reducing the pollutant emissions of about 6,000 tons a year.
